Fishing
The Okavango Delta is one of Africa's last great natural sanctuaries, a pristine and rich wilderness home to vast concentrations of wildlife. The Okavango Delta is home to 80 fish species, including the tiger fish species of tilapia and various species of catfish. Fish sizes range from the 1.4 m (4.6 ft) African sharp tooth catfish to the 3.2 cm (1.3 in) sickle barb. The fish breed in shallow water during the delta's May to August flood season, returning to the main channels from September to March whereby we now do our fishing activities at Bush Orchestra Safaris During rainy seasons in January and February fishing is prohibited in Botswana for fish breeding
